You can also either download and purchase their anti-virus software, or download the latest virus updates if you already operate their software.
This was the first anti-virus Web site ever, and according to Data Fellow, is considered "the industry standard source for up-to-date information on new viruses and hoax alerts". It is updated several times a week.
McAfee has several different sites that present their products and information, but this page is the easiest to use. The Virus Information Library and their Anti-Virus Tips are the most helpful features of this site. Symantec makes the leading anti-virus software: Norton Anti-Virus. This link will take you to Symantec's Security Update page, but you can also search the site and buy their products by following the links on the page.
