How To Disconnect From The Internet For Windows 95

Note: The following instructions for Windows 95 Dial-Up Networking are designed for Dial-Up Networking Version 1.2.  If you have an older version of Dial-Up Networking, these instructions may still be used for some guidance in disconnecting from the internet.

1.  Close the program you are using with the Internet (browser, e-mail client, news reader, FTP, ICQ, etc.).

2.  From the desktop, slide your mouse pointer over the connection icon (lower right hand corner, near the clock and looks like dis.jpg (1066 bytes) ) and double-click with the left mouse button.  The "Connected to Internet Texoma" window will appear.
