How To Change Your Start Page
For Internet Explorer

Note: The following  instructions for Internet Explorer are designed for Internet Explorer 3.02.  If you have a different version of Internet Explorer, these instructions may still be used for some guidance in changing your settings.

1.  From inside Internet Explorer, slide your mouse pointer over the word "View" (top right hand corner, between "Edit" and "Go") and single-click with the left mouse button. A drop-down menu will appear.

2.  Slide your mouse pointer over the word "Options..." (the last entry) and single-click with the left mouse button. The "Options" window will appear.

3.  At the top of the window you will see six tabs: "General", "Connection", "Navigation", "Programs", "Security", and "Advanced".  Slide your mouse pointer over the "Navigation" tab and single-click with the left mouse button. The "Navigation" tab will move to the front.

4.  Slide your mouse pointer over the upside-down triangle to the right of the "Page:" entry box (the white area to the right of the word "Page:") and single-click with the left mouse button. A drop-down list will appear.

5. Slide your mouse pointer over the words "Start Page" and single-click with the left mouse button.

6.  Slide your mouse pointer over the "Address:" entry box (the white area to the right of the word "Address:") and single-click with the left mouse button.

7.  Remove the current address in the entry box and type the complete address of the Web site you wish to make your start page (i.e., http://www.texoma.net).

8.  Slide your mouse pointer over the "OK" button (at the bottom of the window) and single-click with the left mouse button. The "Options" window will disappear.

9.  Your start page has been reset.  The next time you start Internet Explorer,  the address you specified will be your start page.
