How To Clear Netscape Navigator's
Cache Files

Note: The following instructions for Netscape Navigator are designed for Netscape Navigator Version 3.04. If you have a different version of Netscape Navigator, these instructions may still be used for some guidance in checking your settings.

1.  From inside Netscape Navigator, slide your mouse pointer over the word "Options" (top of the Netscape window, in between "Bookmarks" and "Directory") and single-click with your left mouse button. A drop-down menu will appear.

2.  Slide your mouse pointer over the words "Network Preferences..." and single-click with the left mouse button. The "Preferences" window will appear.

3.  At the top of the window, you will see five tabs: "Cache", "Connections", "Proxies", "Protocols" and "Languages".  Slide your mouse pointer over the tab labeled "Cache" and single-click with the left mouse button.  Refer to the image below for guidance if necessary.
