How To Visit An Internet AddressNote: The following instructions for Netscape Navigator are designed for Netscape Navigator Version 3.04. If you have a different version of Netscape Navigator, these instructions may still be used for some guidance in checking your settings. 1. Connect to Internet Texoma. (If you are not familiar with connecting to Internet Texoma, please refer to section 2 of the How To directory on this site.) 2. From within Netscape Navigator, slide your mouse over the "Location:" entry box (the white box to the right of the word "Location:") and single-click with the left mouse button. 3. Remove any characters in the entry box by pressing the "Backspace" and/or "Delete" keys on the keyboard. Type in the address of the Web site you wish to visit and then press the "Enter" key on the keyboard. Your page should begin to load. Refer to the image below for guidance if necessary.
-OR- 4. While holding down the control key (labeled "Ctrl" on your keyboard), hit the letter "L". A window will appear. Type the address and hit the "Enter" key. Your page should begin to load. |
