How To Send An Email With
Microsoft Internet Mail.
1. From inside Internet Mail, slide your mouse
pointer over the "New Message" button (on the toolbar, to the left) and single
click with the left mouse button. (The "New Message" window will appear.)

2. This is where you will type your letter.
However, you first must specify who you want to send the letter to. It will
automatically start up in the correct field you need to be to type in recipients.
Type in the full email address of who you want to send this message to. A full email
address includes a user name, followed by the @ symbol, followed by a domain. (For
example, in grandma309@texoma.net, grandma309 is the username, and texoma.net is the
domain. If you wish to send a copy of this to multiple recipients, simply put a
semicolon (;) after each email address followed by the next recipient.)

3. After you have specified all the people you want
to send the letter to, you should now type in a subject for you message. This is not
required, but it gives the person receiving it a brief overview of what the message is all
about. To do this move the mouse cursor over the section stating, "<click
her to enter the subject>", and single click with the left mouse button.
Now type a short, simple subject of your message. For example, if you
were writing Grandma about visiting her Christmas, you might put "visiting over
Christmas", or something to that effect.

4. Now you are ready to type your actual message.
To do this click anywhere in the big white box below the previous typing you've
done so far. The next part is most fun-filled part, the actual typing of the
message. Simply type what ever you have to say.

5. Once the typing of the message is done, you are
ready to send it off. To do this, locate the small envelope located beneath File on
the toolbar. (This is the "send" button.) Slide your mouse pointer over
the "send" button and single click with the left mouse button. (Note: This
will not send the message over the Internet, this will place the e-mail in the
"Out Box".)
6. Note: Before following this step, you must first
be connected to the Internet. Slide your mouse pointer over the "Send &
Receive" button (on the toolbar in-between "Forward" and
"Delete") and single click with the left mouse button. The e-mail is now
sent. (Note: If you wish to deactivate the Out Box and have you messages sent directaly
from the "New Message" window, please visit section 4.2i How
To Send Messages Without Using The Outbox.)

7. If you wish to test your e-mail, you can send
yourself a message. In step 2, type your e-mail address and continue with the rest
of the instructions.
