1.2  How To Sign Up With Internet Texoma

Internet Texoma offers new customers a two week trial period. The two weeks are free and there is no obligation to continue service after the trial period is over.  Note: The trial period does not begin until the first time you log in.

To sign up for your trial period via the Web, point your Web browser to signup.texoma.net, follow the instructions on the screen and submit the form page.

To sign up for your trial period via phone, please call one of the numbers listed in section 1.1  How To Contact Internet Texoma of this Web Site.

 

1.3  How To Add An E-Mail Address To Your Account

As an Internet Texoma customer, you are given eight e-mail addresses per dial-up account (a senior citizen account is given three e-mail addresses). The first address is devoted to your user name and the remaining addresses are for use at your discretion (one can be for the family, one for each child and one for each parent, etc.).

To add an e-mail address to your account, you have the following options:

  • Send an e-mail to support@texoma.net with the words "additional e-mail address" in the subject line. Please include within the body of the e-mail: your real name, user name, your dial-up account's secret word or phrase (if you do not know the secret word or phrase, include your phone number), the addresses you wish to add, and a password for each e-mail  address.

New Address User Name & Password Guidelines

User Name: The user name area of the address must be at least three characters long, but not exceed fifteen, start with a letter, consist of letters and numbers only and have no capitalized letters.

Password: The password must be at least six characters long and consist of at least one capital letter and either one number (0-9) or one of the following punctuation marks: comma (,), period (.), or a hyphen (-).

 

1.4  How To Obtain Internet Texoma's Software

Internet Texoma sofware CD contains Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0, Netscape Communicator 4.04 & Eudora Light.

To have a copy of the software mailed to you, please send an e-mail to support@texoma.net with the words "software request" in the subject line.  Be sure to include your real name, user name, mailing address, operating system and which media format you prefer (3.5 diskettes or CD-ROM).  You may also phone in your request at one of the numbers listed in section 1.1  How To Contact Internet Texoma. of this Web site. Please allow three to seven days for delivery.

To pick up a copy of the Internet Texoma software in person, the Internet Texoma office is located at 120 West Mulberry; Sherman, TX  75090 and is open 7 days a week between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.

To download the software via the Web, point your Web browser to help.texoma.net/download.htm.
